About Me

Who am I?

I have ten years of experience as a content and design systems architect and product manager. I am currently a Product Manager with SafeInsights helping to build a new and secure nationwide research infrastructure for education research. My team is currently building applications for secure enclaves to enable researchers to analyze learning providers’ data. Previously, I’ve lead teams in building systems for content management, design systems and developing content for courseware products.

I enjoy working in the space between content, design, and technology. I love organizing and managing content and making it accessible and beautiful for people to experience.

What is it like to work with me?

As a teammate, I love solving complex content or product problems with clear and simple design solutions. I enjoy working with people who have a diverse set of skills and outlooks so I can always challenge myself to learn more and to think more creatively.

As a team lead, I firmly believe in leading with humility and kindness. I believe in learning from our mistakes, trusting our teams to do great work, and having a little fun along the way. I also believe that as a leader, it is your duty to be consistent and clear with your product visions and goals and to foster a safe and trusting environment for your team.

What am I currently learning?

Currently I am learning about cryptography and trying to translate it something easy to understand so I can explain to my parents what I do!

Personally, I am taking a pottery class.

Besides work, what else do you do?

I enjoy watching movies, stand-up comedy, cooking, chillin’ with my cats, building mechanical keyboards, making bad digital art with Procreate, block printing and eating really good food around town.
